It's been two years after the Sanzo Party's journey west. After stopping the revival experiment on Gyumaoh the weary group traveled back home to Chang'an where they went back to their old lives. There are some after affects of the minus wave, despite stopping Gyokuman Koshu.
Demons have returned to normal but there are still very strained relations between humans and demons. The demons thought that things would go back to normal after the Sanzo Party attacked Houtou Castle. They were sadly mistaken. Humans still have a strong distrust of demons and still fear that demons will go rabid at a moments notice.
The God's have made a decision. They have sent a small group of their own to keep the peace between humans and demons. However, the leader, Tianti uses more extreme and violent methods to keep the peace.

Dark Forests At the bottom of Mt.Gogyo is a thick forest that forms around the stoney jagged area inwhich some of the trees cut out the sun light almost completely.

Chang'an (6 sub-boards) Chang'an is where the Sanzo party resides.
Remnants of Kinzan Temple The temple built downstream of the Yangzi River. Its broken up into several blocks, and its total ground area is quite large. It is the temple Priest Koumyou Sanzo oversaw in his later years, and also the place Genjo Sanzo spent his childhood days at as Kouryuu. It went up in flames when youkai opposition attacked. All that's left are ashes.

Kaiwai A small, quiet village just a few days car journey away from Chang'an.
Desert There exists an oasis and a small village inside the oasis here. Otherwise there is nothing but sand as far as the eye can see.

Heaven Its called heaven, but that isnt to say that it exists in the sky; it exists in another dimension. It is the place where Shangri-las original gods exist. There is no notion of time or death, much less that of the seasons. The cherry blossoms are perpetually in bloom. Only gods are allowed here.
